Eye-catching and colour-crazy sums up the new collection of sunglasses and prescription frames from DIESEL, which proposes both acetate and metal solutions with generous proportions, square and contoured designs, defined by distinctive details and surprising chromatic effects.
Acetate temples reveal striking designs, with milled and knurled effects as well as two-colour concentric semi-circle patterns that draw attention to the colour of the acetate below.
In some models, temples feature contrasting vertical lines etched in bas relief or enamelled horizontal inserts along temples.
For acetate, layered effects embrace original sunglasses: purple-yellow-green, black-orange, green-yellow-orange, turquoise-green. Metal models opt for more sober colours - ruthenium, gun metal, palladium - combined with inserts in brightly coloured acetate.
The prescription frames collection proposes rimmed rectangular frames as well as other rimless models and some secured by nylon along the bottom, all brightened up by original two-colour effects on profiles.
The focus is on temples, which can feature a double thread of metal with acetate inserts, or metal inserts with round perforations which make for quite striking designs.
